FILM SYNOPSIS - Wat is de geschiedenis van "The Wind that Shakes the Barley"?

The Wind that Shakes the Barley online kijken - Ierland, 1920. Twee broers zijn ingeschreven in de guerrilla's om te vechten tegen Britse troepen proberen om de onafhankelijkheid van Ierland te voorkomen. De liefde voor zijn land maakt Damien afziet van zijn ontluikende carrière als arts en sluit zich aan bij zijn broer Teddy in de strijd voor vrijheid. Na het lijden van een aantal nederlagen en een angstaanjagend aantal slachtoffers, de Britse regering besloten om te onderhandelen met de rebellen aan de bloedige confrontatie te beëindigen. Maar het akkoord tussen de Ierse divisies en resultaten oorzaak in een roman en broedermoordende conflict.
